In 2024, the National Housing Agency (ANAH) strengthened and diversified its financial assistance to encourage home renovation and improvement projects. These aids aim to improve energy efficiency, adapt housing to the needs of elderly and disabled people, and combat substandard housing. This article provides a comprehensive overview of the main available aids, while also highlighting the services offered by our architecture studio, Daimon Design, based in Grasse on the Côte d’Azur.
Ma Prime Rénov’ is a financial aid designed to encourage homeowners, landlords, and co-owners to carry out energy renovation work. Eligibility depends on household income and the program aims to improve the energy efficiency of homes. In 2024, this aid was strengthened to include two main pathways:
Ma Prime Rénov’ – Standard Pathway: This pathway finances the installation of heating and hot water systems using renewable energy. Homeowners can also undertake thermal insulation work. This aid is available to all homeowners with modest, low, or intermediate incomes. Starting July 1, 2024, owners of homes rated F or G must choose the accompanied pathway for extensive renovations – see the ANAH website for more information.
Ma Prime Rénov’ – Accompanied Pathway: This pathway is designed for ambitious renovations that achieve at least a two-class energy improvement. It is mandatory for complex projects and includes personalized support from an Accompagnateur Rénov’, approved by ANAH. Homeowners can receive significant funding, covering up to 90% of renovation costs, with a ceiling of €70,000 – see ANAH press releases for more details.
Our team of architects and engineers at Daimon Design, as a France Rénov’ approved advisor, provides comprehensive support in preparing Ma Prime Rénov’ application files. We ensure personalized and thorough project management, guaranteeing optimal renovation results.
Ma Prime Rénov’ Copropriété targets renovation work on the common areas of co-owned properties. This aid finances 30% to 45% of the costs, depending on the level of energy gains achieved. Co-owners must undertake work that achieves at least a 35% energy gain, with a maximum of €25,000 per dwelling – more information [here].
To benefit from this aid, co-owners must be registered in the national registry and up to date with their contributions. Project management support is also mandatory to ensure the proper execution of the work.
Ma Prime Adapt’ is a new aid aimed at adapting homes to the needs of elderly and disabled people. Available from age 70 without autonomy loss conditions, it finances up to 70% of renovation costs, with a ceiling of €22,000. It is also accessible to people aged 60–69 with early autonomy loss and to disabled persons with a disability rate above 50% – learn more on ANAH’s website.
Thanks to its expertise in thermal and bioclimatic engineering, as well as architectural restoration, Daimon Design offers innovative solutions to adapt housing, ensuring comfort and safety for all occupants.
This program targets substandard and deteriorated housing. It finances major rehabilitation work, including electrical, sanitation, and plumbing network renovations. This program is essential for improving living conditions for occupants of precarious housing.
By choosing to carry out renovation and improvement work with the support of ANAH and our professional services, you contribute to the sustainability and energy efficiency of your home while ensuring optimal comfort for you and your loved ones.
