Brasserie Chiancone – Workshops and coliving – Italy

The transformation project of a villa confiscated from the mafia into a brewery with coliving and workshops in Bari, carried out by Daimon Design, revitalizes an abandoned site, symbolizing the fight against urban decay and organized crime.

It combines residential spaces, a brewery, and workshops over 280 m² for the living area, 280 m² for brewing production, and 600 m² of outdoor spaces, all designed according to LEED certification to ensure sustainability and energy efficiency.

The architecture is based on a system of patios that separate and illuminate private and shared spaces while promoting interaction and cohesion. Sustainable and recycled materials, such as reclaimed bricks and wood, reflect the project’s ecological commitment.

Green technologies, including solar panels and efficient thermal insulation, complement the sustainable approach, making this project a model of responsible and environmentally conscious architecture.

The transformation of the villa into a brewery with coliving spaces and workshops in Bari perfectly illustrates Daimon Design’s mission: to unlock the creative and emotional potential of every space while upholding principles of sustainability and social responsibility. Based in Grasse and Menton, we are proud to contribute to initiatives that celebrate sustainable architecture and social development.
